First-class training and education in inhaled drug development
MVIC offers customized courses based on our customers specific needs. These courses can be held at Medicon Village in Lund, Sweden, or at your site. Please contact us and based on your specific needs, we can allocate relevant staff and plan the details. Course material and training certificate will be available.
Symposium courses
Every year, in connection with the MVIC Symposium, MVIC runs a two-day Training on inhaled drug delivery. Presenters at the Training are MVIC experts. The Training spans the early pre-clinical and toxicology area over several CMC aspects to clinical studies. Podium presentations are mixed with hands on sessions. We really encourage anyone to join the Training, especially if you are a newcomer in the inhalation field.
Example of Courses
- Overview of the inhaled drug delivery area (1 day).
- Delivered dose and impactor testing; Theory, practicalities, interpretation of pharmacopeial methods, IVIVC, and data handling (0.5–1 day).
- Clinical overview covering all aspects from phase I to phase III. This includes the general clinical perspective and patient insights and the fundamentals of the studies needed to register generic products including PK and PD equivalence studies (0.5–1 day).
- Solid state aspects on inhalation medicinal products (0.5–1 day).
- A two-day course covering all areas (as at the MVIC Training) added with some fundamental aerosol physics. A real kick-off into the world of inhaled medicines.
